RIP Dave Ulliott. How it all started for myself and many others who first saw Late Night Poker and said wtf is this then to be presented with this guy calle. Games run daily in the standard limit hold’em, no-limit hold’em, pot-limit Omaha and split-pot game fare. Interesting additions to that list include badugi, 2-7 triple draw, A-5 triple draw and Chinese poker. The Rio’s tournament action is also appealing and provides for players who swing by the room at any time of the day or night. With a recent poker night, only three of the eight guys I invited could make it. I was strongly tempted to just change the date last minute and move it back a week. But, I held to the original plan, and simply invited some different guys from a wider circle of friends and acquaintances, and I encouraged the regulars who were coming to invite.
